Morning Beach Session | Drake’s Island, Maine

Photos at the beach in Maine are one of my favorite things, ever. Add in one of my absolute favorite families, and I.am.there.

While I normally gravitate towards sessions during Golden Hour at the beach, Kiley promised me that the morning light on Drake’s Island Beach was worth getting out of bed for. She didn’t steer me wrong, and the overcast skies also helped create the perfect lighting scenario. While sunny days are a must-have for a beach vacation, overcast skies are absolutely necessary to capture the amazing landscape and everyone’s faces in soft, even light.

I think Kieran’s little chambray jumpsuit might be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. But then again, he’s the cutest 14-month old I ever did see.
