Pictures have always been my favorite way to tell a story. My goal is to catch raw, organic, natural images—the belly laughs, the wink between husband and wife, the light as it crests over a mountain just like you remembered it—and to leave you with photos that have you feeling like, well, you. Because let’s be honest, most of us don’t exactly feel comfortable in front of a camera!
My formal training is a BA in Studio Art from Middlebury College, where I spent most of my senior year taking black and white photographs for a candid study of my family (who remain some of my favorite subjects!). Over a decade later, I can still be found behind a camera everywhere from family reunions, newborn shoots, weddings, and engagement parties.
Most days, you can find me rocking a topknot (because who has time to do their hair?!) and wearing a flannel as soon as it’s socially acceptable each fall. Maple lattes are the little slice of heaven that I treat myself to each morning. A perfectly toasted marshmallow in a s’more and FaceTiming my niece and nephews are two of my favorite things. I’ve also mastered the art of simultaneously streaming a Boston Bruins game while catching up on the most recent episode of The Bachelor.
I grew up in northwestern Vermont on the shores of Lake Champlain, and while New England has my heart, I’m ready to travel wherever you are. Let’s chat about what you’re looking for—I can’t wait to tell your story.
