While my initial idea of a family photo was posed in coordinated outfits, as my kids grow, it makes my heart so happy to have preserved images of messy hair and pajamas during the school bus phase, the favorite stuffy proudly won at a fair, and all these little things that you realize were actually the most precious things once they've moved onto the next phase. I will forever be grateful for having these memories frozen in time
