What began with an unexpected Instagram message became a summer wedding at Hildene, where Vermont's rolling hills and historic gardens welcomed loved ones from across New England.
Pat's sister was convinced he and Maddie would be a perfect match. She reached out through the social media account where Maddie worked, and the introduction eventually led them here. They skipped a traditional wedding party, choosing instead to spend the weekend surrounded by family and close friends who traveled from across New England. Before the ceremony, they shared a quiet first look with their chocolate lab, Bunker, at the nearby home where they spent the weekend together.
