On July 12, 2019, Colin presented Niki with a puzzle that would change their relationship forever. After eight years together and buying a condo in Southie, there was a little bit of pressure for Colin to pop the question and make it official. The customized puzzle officially asked Niki to take Colin’s hand in marriage, and she obviously said yes! A year later, on July 12th, we met up on a warm evening in Boston to snap engagement photos. These two were so much fun and game for anything I suggested – including a spontaneous piggyback ride in a crosswalk in front of a bunch of people dining outdoors. After strolling around the South End, we headed to the Seaport to catch the sunset along the water. Colin and Niki met in college while studying abroad. They both enrolled in a wine class, and the rest is history. Anything goes during a pandemic, so these two popped the cork to their favorite bottle of wine while strolling around Fan Pier Park. The evening was absolutely perfect, and we’re hoping for the same next June with they say “I do” at the State Room!
