A few weeks ago, I met up with Leah + Luke’s at Luke’s parents’ home in Rockport, Massachusetts to snap some engagement photos. These two were set to tie the knot in Vermont this September. While I immediately fell in love with their wedding vision to have all of their favorite people gather for the weekend in Quechee, I know their altered plans will be just as special. COVID is shifting a lot of wedding plans, but love is not canceled, as evidence by this highlight reel from their session!

MEET ELLEN
I grew up in Vermont and now call Boston home, but I'll always feel most like myself outdoors.
Whether I'm hiking, skiing, spending a long weekend along the shores of Lake Champlain, or returning to Maine with my family each summer, those are the places where I recharge. Before becoming a full-time photographer, I spent years teaching middle school. Looking back, I think that's where I learned the skill that matters most in this work: helping people feel comfortable enough to simply be themselves.
When I'm not photographing weddings, you'll find me planning my next trip to France, getting lost in a good book, cheering on the Boston Bruins, spending time with my family, or wishing I were finally in the right season of life to bring home a dog.
